Do you have a well-loved piece of furniture that is now in need of some care and attention to bring it back to its former glory? Let St Margaret’s Centre turn back time with our excellent furniture restoration service!

Ever since furniture was first manufactured there has been a need to repair it to counter the damage caused by accidents, negligence and everyday wear and tear. Some restoration techniques are straightforward and involve simply re-gluing loose joints or attending to worn drawer runners, while other repairs may involve replacing/substantially replacing part/parts of the piece of furniture. It is also possible to restore wooden surfaces damaged by water, stains, burns, dents and scratches, where possible retaining the original colour and patination of the wood.

St Margaret’s Centre is equipped to deal with this type of reconstruction. Pre-loved items can be cherished once more in the home when sympathetic restoration has been carried out. This service is very well established in the County Durham area, with lots of very satisfied customers.

All profits are directed back into the charity, meaning that your perfect furniture helps local people with their mental health recovery.

If you have an item of furniture in need of some TLC and want us to take a look, please get in touch. We may ask you to send us photos of the item.
