Hello everyone,

We can barely believe it is halfway through 2022 – what a busy year it has been so far!

St Margaret’s Centre is proud to be one of the partner organisations in the newly launched Durham Mental Wellbeing Alliance, which hopes to provide a more integrated approach to mental health service delivery in County Durham. With this collaborative model, people will be able to access St Margaret’s Centre’s activities and training alongside a wide variety of services such as accommodation and floating support delivered by the other organisations. For more information, please visit the Durham Mental Wellbeing Alliance website.

Our new activity timetable is now available via the links below.

Covid-19: Though the government has now relaxed most Covid-19 restrictions, we ask that you please do not attend the centre if you are experiencing any symptoms of Covid-19, or have received a positive test result. This will help to keep the centre safe and accessible for people with health conditions, and we really appreciate your support throughout this time.

Finally, we are currently look for friendly and reliable volunteers for our community cafe. Shifts are available between Monday-Friday 9am-3pm, and we offer full training in Food Hygiene, Allergen Awareness, and the day to day running of a cafe. Please click here for a role description.

We look forward to seeing you soon!
